This Is the last vesion of this i will be making for the contest. but i might still work on it every so often.

well in this i did MOST of it in bryce then all the rest in photoshop. as you can probably see this toom me 4 EVER!!! i'm pretty happy on how it came out! i hope it does good in the contest. but i mostly did this for the fun of it, cuz i had the idea and i desided to take the time to do it, and did it ever take a long time to make!!!!

in the zip there is the resolutions, 1600/1200,1280/960,1152/864,1024/768,800 /600

hrmm just noticed this... the light only effect the one layer :o (Eek) they seem to have no effect on the background... weird...

no fred the reason it has no efect on the background (mountains) is cut they r to far away! the background and the buildings r one layer!

Nice, i think the metal around the porthole needs somemore noticable texture still.

And his name isn't fred........

looks good, might want to put in some cracks or other texture on the metal. somehthing about the building in the middle doesn't seem right. but a good job nonetheless

Everything is too linear. Needs some more variance and a gradient convergence between the sand and the buildings, and the middle is a bit too straightforward. Perhaps some more debris-like objects, and rocks or artifacts. But this is your final version, so it's too late.
